Gombak, 21 November 2025 – Archery is one of the sports favoured by Nabi Muhammad (s.a.w.), and Muslims are encouraged to participate in it as part of following his Sunnah. Archery promotes discipline, focus, patience, and physical coordination. It cultivates mental resilience and self-control, as success in archery requires precision, consistency, and calmness under pressure. Historically, archery also served as an essential skill for self-defence and community protection, reflecting the emphasis Islam places on preparedness and strength. In the contemporary context, archery remains a constructive sporting activity that supports physical well-being, character development, and the nurturing of positive values aligned with Islamic teachings.
