Steps for Opening an RHB Pro Savings Account-i for CFS IIUM Students

The MySiswa Card is an initiative by the Ministry of Higher Education (KPT) in collaboration with public universities in Malaysia and RHB Bank. It aims to implement financial savings, create cashless campuses, smart campuses, student identities, and develop a better financial ecosystem for students, university management, the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), and KPT.

 
 

1.  Opening RHB Pro Saving Account-i is MANDATORY before the student registers.
2. MySiswa card that you will receive from your university will function as a debit card  and Student Matric Card/ Student Identification Card
3. Upon opening RHB Pro Savings Account-i and activating MySiswa card, you can enjoy lots of discounts and benefits.

Steps for Malaysian Students

METHOD 1: Online Account Opening

Note:
*Applicable for students with age 18 and above
* No deposit is required to open the account. However, to activate the account online (without visiting the bank branch), a minimum of RM10 must be transferred from your existing bank accounts (online banking must be under the student’s name) to complete the verification process. You may withdraw the amount after completing the online account activation process.
* If you are 18 years old and below, please use METHOD 2

STEP 1
Download the RHB Mobile Banking app from App Store or Google Play Store.
STEP 2
After downloading the RHB Apps, please scan the QR code above to begin your online application process. (Ensure that the RHB Apps is installed on the same phone during the QR code scan.)
STEP 3
Go through all the steps for your Online Account Opening until completion.
STEP 4
Once you have completed your online account opening, you will receive a Welcome Email from RHB.
STEP 5
Your RHB MySiswa Debit Card-i will be printed and distributed to you during your registration week
STEP 6
RHB will set up an activation counter at our university from July 29th, 2024, until August 2nd, 2024, at Al Khawarizmi Hall, CFS IIUM Gambang.

METHOD 2: Account Opening at any RHB Branches

Note:
If you are below 18 years old:
i. Original Birth Certification
ii. Original Identification Card (MyKad)
iii. Letter of Offer or Student Confirmation Letter from the University

Important Note: You need to be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian during the account opening process. For guardian other than parents, please bring along supporting document to prove the relationship e.g. legal guardian letter etc.

If you are 18 years old and above:
i. Original Identification Card (MyKad/MyTentera)
ii. Letter of Offer or Student Confirmation Letter from the University

No deposit amount is required during account opening.

STEP 1
Download our RHB eQMS from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
STEP 2
Set an appointment for the account opening of your RHB Pro Savings Account-i through the RHB eQMS.
STEP 3
Visit your selected RHB branch as per your appointment (as per Date & Time selected) to open the account. Don't forget to bring the supporting document together.
STEP 4
Once you have completed your account opening, you will receive a Welcome Email from RHB.
STEP 5
Your RHB MySiswa Debit Card-i will be printed and distributed to you during your registration week
STEP 6
RHB will set up an activation counter at our university from July 29th, 2024, until August 2nd, 2024, at Al Khawarizmi Hall, CFS IIUM Gambang.

Steps for International Student

Note:
i. Original Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
ii. Letter of Offer or Student Confirmation Letter from the University
iii. Student Visa/Pass (Visa/Pass must be valid during account opening)

No deposit amount is required during account opening.

STEP 2
Download our RHB eQMS from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
STEP 3
Set an appointment for the account opening of your RHB Pro Savings Account-i through the RHB eQMS.
STEP 4
Visit your selected RHB branch as per your appointment (as per Date & Time selected) to open the account. Don't forget to bring the supporting document together.
STEP 5
Your RHB MySiswa Debit Card-i will be printed and distributed to you during your registration week
STEP 6

– This account will be your primary account for as long as you are a student under this programme and the only primary account allowed to be linked to RHB MySiswa Debit Card-i.
