On 17 September 2026, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Fauzan Noordin, Deputy Rector, Student Development and Community Engagement (SDCE), IIUM, visited Mahallah Hafsah and Mahallah Siddiq to review ongoing maintenance matters and monitor the preparation of the Mahallahs in welcoming new intake students for Semester 1, 2026/2027.

The visit also included a follow-up visit to Mahallah Safiyyah to review the progress and updates on the matters highlighted during his previous visit on 9 September 2026.

The visit was joined by Mr. Johan bin Haji Ibrahim, Head of Mahallah Management Unit, RSD; Mr. Wan Rizaila Wan Mamat Saufi, Head of Project and Facilities Unit, RSD; Ts. Nurul Fadzrin Ruslan, Facilities Manager, Daya Bersih Sdn. Bhd.; as well as the respective Mahallah Hostel Managers and officer from Office of Deputy Rector (SDCE).
