On March 3, 2025, the Deputy Rector (Student Development and Community Engagement) officiated the IIUM Ramadhan Mahabbah Food Programme 1446H/2025M at the Student Affairs and Development Division (STADD). The Welfare Management Unit of STADD is distributing sahur food baskets to 250 underprivileged IIUM students and providing 2,400 coupons for iftar buffet slots throughout the month of Ramadhan. Approximately 1,000 IIUM students at the Gombak campus have registered for the iftar coupons and sahur food baskets.

The Bai’ah Session for Semester 2, 2024/2025 was held on 28 February 2025, involving 294 students from Gombak, Kuantan, and Pagoh campuses. This event marked the start of their academic journey at IIUM and reinforced their commitment to the university’s values.
