ARD Engagements with IIUM Alumni
Collaboration between Gamuda Land with KAED, OIL and IIUM Alumni
3 February 2024 – The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), through its Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), is set to formalize a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gamuda Land, a distinguished property developer recognized for its conscientious urban development practices. IIUM Rector, Prof. Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, represented IIUM at the MoU signing ceremony, which also involved Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
This collaboration, established during the Wetlands Festival 2024 launch at Gamuda Cove’s Wetlands Arboretum Centre, will span three years and aims to foster a cooperative platform between IIUM and Gamuda Land, emphasizing the academic-industry interface. The genesis of this partnership stemmed from the Academia-Industry Networking event organized by IIUM’s Office of Industrial Links on June 8, 2023.
Alumni Fun Ride (IIUM MY1200: Malaysia Ultra Endurance Cycling)
3 January 2024 – An exhilarating journey with the IIUM team as they prepare for the Alumni Fun Ride – IIUM MY1200: Malaysia Ultra Endurance Cycling event.
Precisely at 12 am (4 January 2024), Prof. Dr. Jamal Rahman, along with Br. Matt Moss, Br. Muzammil, Salehuddin, and Br. Mizi, set out for the recce and simulation of the IIUM MY1200 event. Join us as we unite in prayer for the safety and success of the IIUM team.
