”Kejohanan Bola Sepak Berpenjuru Lagenda UIAM 2025

4 October 2025 – The IIUM Alumni Football Team from Gremio, Bilal FC, Azzurri, Helloween and Sabah Chapter co-organized the Kejohanan Berpenjuru Lagenda UIAM 2025 in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Division (ARD) and Sports Development Center (SDC). The alumni team collectively contributed RM5,000 to the Alumni Scholarship and Financial Assistance (ALSAFA) Fund to help needy students of IIUM.

IIUM Alumni @ Bukit Dinding

20 September 2025 – Organised by the IIUM Alumni Adventure and Recreational Wing (ARW), in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Division IIUM. The event led by Dr. Zaid Mohamad, a former lecturer of AIKOL, and the hike was successfully coordinated by Br. Rozaimi bin Mohd Said (AIKOL, 2001) and Sr. W. Asmaliza binti Abdullah (AIKOL, 2002), with Br. Mohd Razmy bin Azis (KIRKHS, 2005), President of the IIUM ARC Alumni Wing.

5 September 2025 – In conjunction with the IIUM Alumni Ummatic Homecoming, the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Mosque, IIUM Gombak Campus, welcomed Dr. Md Mizanur Rahman (KIRKHS, 2016 & 2022) as the khatib for the Friday sermon. A respected IIUM alumnus and prominent Islamic figure from Bangladesh, Dr. Mizanur Rahman delivered a deeply moving khutbah entitled “Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin: Mercy to the Worlds”

IIUM Alumni Forum and Rountable Discussion

30 August 2025 – In conjunction with the IIUM Alumni Ummatic Homecoming, the Alumni Relations Division, in collaboration with the Peace, Dialogue and
Xenophobia Studies Centre (PEDIXS-IIUM), organised the IIUM Alumni Forum & Roundtable Discussion: IIUM Alumni for Ummatic Excellence at Senate Hall, IIUM Gombak. Themed “Reclaiming Ummatic Leadership: Role of IIUM Alumni”, the session brought together prominent alumni from diverse backgrounds to share insights on Ummatic leadership, peace, and unity in today’s global context.

Alumni Book Review Session

28 August 2025 – The programme brought together distinguished international alumni to present three inspiring books, Humanising Education: The Bosnian Experience in Malaysia, Humanising Education: The Turkish Experience in Malaysia, and Kisah Alumni IIUM: Menggenggam Ilmu, Menginspirasi Dunia.

Launching of IIUM Alumni Ummatic Homecoming

27 August 2025 – The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) marked a historic evening with the grand launch of the Alumni Ummatic Homecoming, a signature gathering of IIUM graduates from across generations. Themed “Honouring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” the event took place on 27 August 2025 at the IIUM Cultural Centre (ICC), Gombak, and brought together more than 600 alumni from various batches, wings, and chapters.

22 August 2025 – In conjunction with the IIUM Alumni Ummatic Homecoming, the IIUM Alumni Football Homecoming Match took place at the Sayyidina Hamzah Stadium, IIUM, bringing together the IIUM Mustangs Alumni and the Student Affairs and Development Division (STADD).

60 Minutes with IIUM Alumni

30 May 2025 – The Alumni Relations Division, in collaboration with TUNAS Alumni club, organised an engaging edition of “60 Minutes with IIUM Alumni” at the Experimental Hall, IIUM Gombak. The session featured Mr. Iman Mustafa (KIRKHS 2013), a distinguished IIUM alumnus and currently the Deputy General Manager of Culture, Branding & Change Managementat KPJHealthcare Berhad.

Alumni Lecture Series: Kick Start Your Career - Resume Edition

24 May 2025 – TUNAS Alumni club, in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Division, organised an engaging session of Alumni Lecture Series. The session featured Ms. Durra Nur Nazeera Roslaili, an alumnna of the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS, Class of 2022), who currently serves as a Relationship Managerat SME Bank.

Book Launching of 'MISI K2'

8 May 2025 – Congratulations to our Alumni, Our Pride, Br. Mohd Khafiz Bachok (KENMS 2002), on the launch of his first book ‘MISI K2’. A powerful memoir capturing his incredible journey from university life at IIUM to conquering K2, the world’s most dangerous and technical mountain.

The event was held at the Kamal M. Hassan Library, officiated by Prof. Dato’ Mohamad Fauzan, Deputy Rector (Student Development & Community Engagement), and attended by fellow IIUM alumni, families, friends, as well as national Everest icons Datuk M. Magendran, Datuk Mohanadas, including our proud alumnus, Br. Aimy Zairin (KENMS 1996).

In a heartfelt decision, Br. Khafiz chose to launch his book at his alma mater, despite being offered the opportunity to do so at the National Library, honouring IIUM as the place where his dreams first took root.

‘MISI K2’ presents an inspiring narrative of Br. Khafiz’s real-life expedition, revealing the physical, mental, and emotional challenges he faced. More than just a tale of summiting, it stands as a testament to faith, perseverance, and the human spirit.

IIUM Fly High 2025: Inspiring Slot with IIUM Alumni

5-6 May 2025 – An empowering university initiative specially curated for final-year students of IIUM, Fly High 2025 aimed to equip future graduates with the essential tools, mindset, and confidence to soar into the professional world.

Organised by the Counselling & Career Services Centre in collaboration with the Alumni Relations Division, the programme featured an inspiring Alumni Sharing Session. A powerful platform where accomplished IIUM alumni returned to campus to share their real-world journeys, from internship experiences to their current careers.

IIUM Fly High 2025 was more than just a programme, it was a launchpad for future leaders. Here’s to our graduates, our soon-to-be alumni: May You Fly High and Make Your Mark!

IIUM Alumni Semanis Lebaran 1446H

29 April 2025 – The IIUM Alumni Shawwal Gathering 1446H was a success! The event was attended by our alumni from outside IIUM and alumni who works in IIUM. We were thrilled to welcome them back to their alma mater. During the event, some were able to do networking among themselves, and some had the chance to meet their old friends. Thank you #IIUMAlumni and we hope to see more of our brothers and sisters in our upcoming programmes.

In Shaa Allah, the Alumni Relations Division (ARD) will organize the next Shawwal Gathering during the weekend so that many more alumni can come and join us, In Shaa Allah.
