24.04.2025 The IIUM Library was officially renamed the M. Kamal Hassan Library in a historic ceremony on 24 April 2025, graced by HRH Tengku Ampuan of Pahang. The event, held from 12:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., honored his visionary legacy. We extend our gratitude to all who joined this momentous occasion. IIUM Library Renaming Event
08.05.2025 The book launch of MISI K2 – Dari Zero to 8000 by Khafiz Al Kicok was held on 8 May 2025 at the IIUM Student Lounge, M. Kamal Hassan Library. Featuring Everest legends Dato’ Mohandas Nagappan and Dato’ M. Magendran, alongside Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohamad Fauzan, the inspiring event celebrated resilience, adventure, and alumni pride.
From January 2025 The M. Kamal Hassan Library (formerly Dar al-Hikmah Library, Gombak campus) continues to be a beacon of knowledge, welcoming scholars and visitors from across Malaysia and the globe. We take great pride in serving as a hub for learning and cultural exchange. Explore our photo album to relive these memorable moments through the lens!
