Materials placed in the Special Collection are those considered ‘unique’ to the university, on specific subjects of interest to the university and for specific reason considered important by the library.
These include:
Faculty Publications.
Duplicates of some titles are also available in the General Collection (for internal reference only)
Islamic Economics articles.
Can be obtained from the Multimedia and Special Counter at Level 3 (for internal reference only)
Islamic Law articles.
Can be obtained from the Multimedia and Special Counter at Level 3 (for internal reference only)
Controversial Materials.
Includes restricted collection located at Multimedia Collections (for internal reference only). Need to provide an official letter from Kulliyah to access this collection.
Manuscripts.
Can be obtained from the Multimedia and Special Counter at Level 3 (for internal reference only)
Archives Collection.
Maintained by Archive Unit located at Level 3, Dar al-Hikmah Library (for internal reference only)
Ahmad Ibrahim Collections (AIC).
Special collections which are situated at Level 1, Dar al-Hikmah Library (for internal reference only)
IIiBF Collections (IIiBF Library).
Special Library located at KICT Building (only general books are borrowable)
Mohd Kamal Hasan Collections (MKH Library).
Special Library located at Level 4, Abdul Rauf Building (for internal reference only)
Scholastic Collections.
