The Dar al-Hikmah Library provides Information Literacy Skill Classes as a guidance and education services programme for its clients.
The objectives of this programme are:

To introduce Library Services, collections, and facilities to library clients.
To guide the clients to identify and access various information resources, printed or electronic, for their information search with efficiency, effectively and independently.
To enable the clients to understand how to use strategic searching skills in their information searching.
To develop a lifelong culture of learning among the library clients.
